Kasa Kurij (pronounced like courage) is a recently built 6 bedroom 4.5 bath contemporary home with a stand alone GeoDome and is located in the private gated community of Rancho Playa Negra. Just steps from the ocean and within a short walk to the quaint town of Playa Negra. It features all the necessary amenities for a relaxing vacation or intimate retreat. The mix of the incredible Teak woodwork and the simplistic flow of the home will allow you to drop right in and experience the Pura Vida energy in style and comfort.
The town
Rancho Playa Negra is located in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, specifically near the town of Playa Negra. Playa Negra is a beautiful beach known for its dark, volcanic sands and excellent surf conditions. It's situated along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in close proximity to other popular destinations such as Tamarindo and Santa Cruz.
The area is characterized by its lush tropical vegetation, stunning beaches, and abundant wildlife. It's a popular destination for surfers, nature lovers, and those seeking a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere compared to some of the busier tourist areas in Costa Rica.

Getting around
Playa Negra is in the Guanacaste province, 80 kilometres (50) miles) from Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport located in Liberia and 246 kilometers (152) miles from Juan Santamaria International Airport located in San Jose. The closest town is Los Pargos & Negra.
Transfers from the airport can be arranged and expect a drive of approximately 1 ½ hours. Alternatively, to really experience the country and the area, rent a SUV or car. You can set your GPS to Rancho Playa Negra for directions.
The immediate area has a handful of small stores, some restaurants (ranging from pizza, casual to fine dining) but it is limited, and you will need to go to Santa Cruz or Tamarindo for larger grocery stores, supplies and gas.
